Kingdom Unity Ministries (KUM) has been around since 2011. KUM was given my God in South Africa, through the leadership of Pastor Tay Matins. We started by operating as a web based (online) outreach (www.kingdomunity.wix.com/ministry). We teach and reach out through the publishing and posting of journals and articles on our website and other major social network forums.
By 2012 we started engaging in more physical operation and outreaches, in connection with both growing and well established Christian ministries. By early 2013, Kingdom Unity Ministries partnered with Our South Korean friend, Pastor Jeoung of Under Tree Church, where we directly engage with the less privileged. There we service our members with spiritual preaching, guidance and counselling (that relates to them) and importantly, that which matters more: basic relieves: food, drinks, vegetables, clothing and medical services.
Our experience while serving alongside with Under Tree Church (mission from South Korea) has been significant and fulfilling as it has provided us the platform to engage with the very needy at grass root level. Being an open (outdoor) outreach, it has been wonderful to experience ministry in the very manner of Jesus –church without walls. We were caught up in this noble act until we heard the voice of God to proceed as scheduled.
When we started in 2011, God set before us to start as a church in 2015 when he communicated our location. In South Africa I had a dream; I was driving on the highway in my very own car (of then) when I saw a white stallion (horse) leashed by the fence on the way side. I pulled over, get off my car and as I was wondering why would someone abandon such a valuable animal by the roadside, the horse whickers and gestured that I mount on him. As I mounted and rode on the back of the white stallion, he like Pegasus, flew in the air with me on his back. Together we flew across many nations. Then he dropped me at my family house in Ibadan, Nigeria. Here we are, with a mystery force compelling us to fulfill the said prophecy of God.
I remember asking God; why Ibadan? Because it was at the lowest point of the nation’s economy, especially in a city like Ibadan by the time I returned in 2015. God answered me: “Are you not the one who told me that you prefer a church that does not live on her members to survive? So shut up and follow my leading.”
I must confess that we are not the very same that started in 2011. We have experienced a great lot of transformation while we were active in the services of God. We are empowered with knowledge to provide solutions beyond physical understanding, to treat in problems that are spiritual, supernatural, metaphysical, psychological, ethical, rational, emotional, mental, moral, psychic, paranormal, rare form of phobias and religion of Christian motives.
In 2014, the prophecy came again as a reminder of the said time of 2015. Then I asked God what our logo would look like? God said to me: make it a kingdom with seven stars and seven doors. On it shall be a cross and He who rode on the white horse shall guard the gate by the sword, for it shall be a city of refuge.
Immediately I heard the kingdom, the picture of a castle dropped into my head. The cross and seven stars signifies the death & resurrection of Jesus and the seven spirits of God. The seven door stands for the seven secret powers. The colour red signifies the blood of Jesus –his afflictions by the cross for our sake and the colour white, holiness. The castle symbolizes Fortress, of the Kingdom, within which is Unity and Power, for a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.
