Don't blame this guy. But let us ask: who is the tailor?

This is what I call "stepping out of the comfort zone".

Brothers of my generation; I am sure you remember "high waist" -the fashion trend pants for men (in the late 80s & early 90s), when ladies had their “extreme side split" skirt called "Shabbah", named after the Jamaican born Rexton Rawlston Fernando Gordon (a.k.a) Shabba Ranks. Do you remember?

As funny as he may look, let us admire something about this guy in the picture. He is a locally trained vulcanizer (vehicle wheels repairer). He sees elites wearing “high waist” and he admires the trend. He would not wait like many Christians do -waiting for the right time.

Sometimes, waiting for the right time is like calling on anybody -that is nobody. This guy in the picture is actualizing his dream right in his present situation. He has an attitude of meeting up with trends no matter what. He is the type who will buy an “i-pad” even though he knows not how to use it but because he admires the caliber of people who uses it and he wants to feel like them. He will not surrendering to destiny. He makes his destiny.

Has someone ever embarrassed you saying: hey, you are not the type of people who rides such cars or wears such cloths? How are you seeing yourself? As man thinketh, so he is, for wisdom is the key to a successful destiny.

How do you begin with wisdom? The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding -Proverbs 9:10. The fear of the Lord can also be interpreted as the love of the Lord. When a wife loves her husband she finds interest in the thing he does. Christ is the husband of the church, we Christians are the church. Are you smart enough to get what the Bible is saying?

Why wait for God when God is already waiting for you. Love and engage in God’s things. Knock on His door with joy, praise and thanks giving to demand the rightful and glorious destiny of your desire. It is your inheritance if you have that wisdom we just spoke about.

Don’t wait for the right time; for the right time is the time you make it right. Break the protocols like those guys who broke the roof to let down their sick friend for the attention of Jesus –Mark 2:4. Could someone imagine what the owner of that house would be saying when they were breaking his roof apart? Whatever, their desperate faith won’t allow those guys to hold back. Their friend might not get healed if they had waited.

Waiting could be dangerous. Like your last chance, with a joyful heart, in praise and thanks giving, don’t ever stop desiring your glorious destiny from God. Your miracle shall surely manifest in Jesus name. Amen!
